What You Missed at the Boost with Facebook Event

On June 24th and 25th, our office attended the Boost with Facebook event in Toronto. We were able to meet directly with experts, learn about tools for both Facebook and Instagram and speak with local small and medium business owners about some of the obstacles they were facing.

All of the event presenters were Facebook employees and experts in their respective departments. After each session, they made themselves available to meet with attendees and we took advantage of this one-on-one time to ask questions and gain valuable insight. Everyone in our office walked away energized and had ideas on how to incorporate what we learned into our daily work.

The presentations covered many of the Facebook and Instagram tools we already use, but it was nice to have confirmation we are following recommended best practices. We also picked up some tips and tricks we’ve already implemented to streamline our workflow. An interesting presentation on Facebook Messenger sparked a discussion in the office about how best to use this powerful tool to increase leads and conversions for existing clients.

Again, while we went to this event to brush up on our skills, we were also able to meet with many business owners. Some had a solid foundation with Facebook and Instagram, while others were surprised to learn that they could grow their business organically and with paid advertisements on these platforms.
