Job Description:

idig is looking for a highly driven individual to help grow the idig brand by building a pipeline of new client prospects and engaging with those prospects to convert them into qualified sales opportunities.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for all inbound sales inquiries and build your own book of business by proactively hunting for new sales opportunities.

Using a combination of sales methods and tools, you will work directly with the idig team to ensure that the business exceeds its revenue goals and sales targets.

You will

  • Manage customer facing communications across a number of channels.
  • Collaborate with leadership on a sales plan and account based marketing strategy.
  • Prospect and qualify new leads via email, phone and social media.
  • Manage a pipeline of prospects and opportunities and track all customer interactions in a CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the account, design and technology teams on a number of strategic projects.
  • Create a lasting impression with prospects and get them excited about working with idig!

You have

  • College Diploma or University Degree (preferred)
  • 1-3 years professional experience (sales, marketing or communications a plus)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Your intern responsibilities:

  • Provide competitive research and analysis support.
  • Assist in the data collection, interpretation and presentation of results for our client marketing campaigns.
  • Work with the various team leads in orchestrating social media, mobile, mail, e-mail, web, telemarketing, and print programs.
  • Assist in search engine optimization strategies including keyword research.
  • Draft client communications, and record keeping of key discussions & decisions.

  • Monitor social media and digital marketing trends and bring new ideas to encourage a progressive approach.

Qualifications:

  • A College/University Graduate (Preferably Journalism, Communications, English or a related Major).
  • Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills.

  • Work experience with Hootsuite (or similar systems), Google Analytics, and/or WordPress is considered a plus.
